# Ecosystem

### Overview

The Necro League ecosystem is designed to support the long-term development of the studio and its games while offering optional access, activation, and progression mechanics for aligned supporters.

Each component in the ecosystem has a clearly defined role. No asset exists solely as a reward vehicle, and no system relies on continuous growth to remain viable.

The ecosystem is built around five core elements:

* Tireless Workers
* Necron Amulet Shards
* Necron Amulets
* SOUL
* Future expansion assets

These elements interact in structured, deliberate ways.

#### Design Principles

The ecosystem is governed by three foundational principles:

**1. Separation of Concerns**\
Gameplay, asset utility, and campaign participation are intentionally separated. Players can enjoy the games without interacting with blockchain systems, while ecosystem participants can engage with activation, progression, and campaign layers without affecting gameplay balance.

**2. Scarcity Over Emissions**\
Value is created through limited supply, burn mechanics, and activation requirements rather than inflationary rewards or ongoing emissions.

**3. Studio-Centered Value Creation**\
All long-term ecosystem value originates from the studio’s ability to build and operate successful games. Tokens and NFTs do not create value independently.

#### How the Ecosystem Fits Together

At a high level:

* Games create ecosystem momentum through player engagement, retention, and monetization
* Selected campaigns may be supported over time through founder-allocated or ecosystem-funded reward budgets
* SOUL acts as the activation and access layer
* NFTs provide optional progression, status, access, and campaign eligibility across the ecosystem
* Scarcity and commitment replace inflation and speculation

The ecosystem is intentionally conservative. It prioritizes clarity, sustainability, and alignment over speed or hype.
