# Temporary Nature of Shards

## Temporary Nature of Shards

Necron Amulet Shards are not intended to persist as permanent ecosystem assets.

They:

* do not represent equity or ownership in the studio
* do not provide governance rights
* do not unlock gameplay features on their own
* do not function as standalone reward assets

Their role ends once they are burned into Necron Amulets.
